Fast Internet

So when you boot up your browser, what Internet site comes up? This is called your "Home" page, or your "Start page." It's also called a "Startpage" with no space.

If you're unhappy with what you're currently using, the Dumb Little Man blog offers up half a dozen other ideas.

Google gives you results before you even ask the question.

Turner Movie Classics keeps asking to borrow your downloads.

You have to play YouTube videos in slow motion.

Your Internet Service Provider bill includes a surcharge for "flux capacitor use."

Your firewall actually catches on fire.

WELCOME to YOUR WEEK: Well, I'm not sure what's up with this, but it's "Be Nice to New Jersey Week." And tomorrow is "Take Your Webmaster to Lunch Day."

Mark's Musings zooms to you on an RSS Feed, flies on a Facebook Note, speeds into your Amazon Kindle and runs quick like a bunny via e-mail each weekday (usually). Subscriptions are free. ISSN 2154-9761.
